Day 3: Designing a Constituent Services Card

·

1–2 minutes

As an intern for a city councilwoman, I get the opportunity to take on a variety of tasks and meet people from many different backgrounds. Today was my third day and the start of my second week interning for Councilwoman Singh, and it has been an extremely enjoyable experience so far.

Today, I went into the office and was tasked with creating a constituent services directory card with the Councilwoman’s information. The office had an example of what they wanted, and I designed my own version in Canva, branding it to match the Councilwoman’s theme. The purpose of the card is to help constituents find phone numbers for city resources and to spread awareness of the services available to them.
